Transformation Looks Like This

It’s been quite amazing to observe the transformation in how I perceive myself in relation to others now.
I’d like to share my personal journey with you.
When I first began my journey as a healer…I learned angry people were mirroring anger within me.
If I was around someone who was angry…that person was like a mirror, reflecting back to me that I had anger inside. I believed that simply being in their presence meant I was vibrating the emotion of anger…and because I was vibrating that, I'd somehow attracted them to me.
There were many times that belief didn’t make sense because I wasn’t feeling angry at the time. It no longer felt like it was my truth…and I began questioning it.
Through new experiences I came to see a whole new reality. It no longer was about the mirror effect.
I’d been growing more aware of what I was feeling inside…in relation to what was happening around me.
I started to observe that when someone around me was angry…it also became important to be aware of what was happening within me.
Did I react to the fact that they were angry…or didn't I? Wow…that was very different for me and led me to a new concept.
I discovered it became more about noticing whether their anger created a reaction or unrest within me.
If I reacted to their anger, it showed me there was unrest within me related to that emotion. If I didn't react, I was able to simply be present with the situation without making it about me. Talk about freedom in that moment of awareness.
It has now been in the last month or so…that I’ve now come to experience the transformation within myself. One that truly feels more in alignment with where I’m at in my life.
With growing awareness…I now experience this differently.
When I'm around people who are angry…I’m now learning to accept them for who they are in that moment…recognizing they're having their own experience. I then silently bless them and return my focus to my own path.
I’m learning not to make what someone else is or isn’t feeling about me.
This is what I've discovered to be the highest truth for me at this point in my journey…and it’s far more challenging than I could have ever guessed.
Transformation isn't necessarily about arriving at one final answer. Sometimes, what we believe…makes sense for a time…until awareness and new experiences lead us to see something differently.
Transformation happens when we’re willing to question what we’ve been taught, pay attention to our own experiences and allow our understanding to change.
I'm now choosing to continue finding the highest truth for me…challenging belief systems that don’t make sense. I’m grateful for every experience I’ve had because each one has guided me to where I’m at now.
In every one of my blogs, I sincerely end them by saying these words…
Wherever you are on your journey, may you find what works for you…find your own truth…and you’ll always be guided to feel at peace inside.
